uh-oh Abbie's fascination with Mimi's rocking chair got her in trouble. Matt had to snap a picture and then get her out!

If you want to know what we've been up to, I'll try to catch you up over the next couple of days. We flew up to Virginia to spend the 4th of July with Matt's family and the following week. Both of the girls enjoyed spending time with their grandparents and Aunt Leia and getting to do some special things. Abbie loved the shopping cart that they had gotten for her as well as playing with the Little People. She also loved climbing up in the rocking chair and rocking independently. Sophie loved playing with a play make-up set that they had saved from when Aunt Leia was little. She took great care of her toys. She also loved doing craft projects and stickers with Aunt Leia as well as going to special places such as Chuck E. Cheese while we were there. This was the 1st year that we had taken Sophie to a fireworks display and she loved them. If Abbie hadn't been so little last year, we probably would have taken her then but I also think that Sophie was getting over sickness last year so we didn't want to overdo it. Abbie stayed home with Mimi this year which was perfect. More to come on our trip soon...
