One of the highlights of Sophie's time in Richmond was visiting their Chuck E. Cheese which has more of a show with several of the animatronic characters still working. She has really been looking forward to visiting "Mimi's Chuck E. Cheese". All of the family went but I hung out with Abbie more so I'll have to get some pictures of Sophie from her Aunt Leia. Sophie had a great time doing the games & rides with Aunt Leia and they had several printed cards made with their pictures on them. Abbie had a great time going down the slide over and over (which was free) and riding the Barney ride.
We also went to a nice pool one day with a cool area with slides and spray fountains for the kids! The girls had a blast. Poor Matt missed out because he had strep throat but Matt's parents, Aunt Leia, me and the girls went on. The next morning, Aunt Leia went to the same clinic that Matt had been to the day before. She also had strep throat!!
The weather was really nice while we were in VA with low humidity. Another day we went to one of the local parks and walked around. There are several animals there and we were hoping to see the black bears but we didn't see them that day. I may have mentioned it before but Sophie loved playing with a play make-up set that had been Aunt Leia's when she was younger. She had a great time playing with it. We'll have to remember that when Christmas rolls around. =)
