I am sleepy right now so hopefully, my thoughts won't be too disjointed. I can't believe that it is mid-June already. Sophie is taking swimming lessons now and we hope that she will be swimming some by the end of it but we'll see. She doesn't want much to do with putting her face in the water unless she's in control!!
Last week, we were very busy with VBS at our church. It went well but it was just exhausting. It went on each night (Sun-Wed) and kept Sophie out past her bedtime which was hard. Abbie only came one night and stayed with Nana the rest of the time. Matt & I got to help lead her class though so we enjoyed that. We were able to attend a couple of great (FREE) puppet shows at the library last week. Sophie really enjoyed them! We met some friends there one day and played on the playground afterwards and were able to meet Aunt Martha for Hansel and Gretel another day. That day, we had an extra special treat because we went with Martha and Nana to Centennial Park afterwards for a last minute picnic. The girls loved playing on the playground and seeing the ducks. We promised them that we would definitely bring them back to feed the ducks another time!!
