It's hard to believe but Abbie turned 4 last week! We've never had a friends birthday party for her before. We've always had parties at the house that were mostly for family with 1-2 friends included. This year, we decided to go all out and do a big friends party. I gave Abbie the choice between a bounce party and a gymnastics party. She loves to go and bounce, so she voted for that. We had her party at Pump it Up. When I first booked the party, I was a little bit concerned about the weather but thankfully, there was no snow and it didn't even rain when we were trying to load and unload for the party!

Abbie wanted a strawberry Hello Kitty cake so I found a lady to make it and she did an amazing job! My mom also made some cupcakes so we'd be sure to have enough for everybody. Some people don't like strawberry cake either (hard for me to imagine but it's true). We had popcorn and pretzels, alongwith cake and drinks. Many of the kids opted for the cupcakes which was fine with me because strawberry cake is my all-time favorite. The lady who made Abbie's cake makes delicious cakes too!

All of the kids had a wonderful time at Abbie's party. I think they were pretty worn out! Matt and I had another party to attend that night so my mom kept the girls. She said that they were ready to go to bed early! =) We were glad that so many of Abbie's friends were able to come and celebrate it with us. Although we asked for no gifts at the party, it worked out well because Abbie's closest friends and our family members gave her gifts. She has two new baby dolls, a new game, 2 new Leapster games, a few new clothes, some Squinkies, new blocks and a few other new things.
