This past Friday, Sophie had a very exciting day. She spent the night with her Aunt Martha on Thursday night. On Friday morning, Aunt Martha and her Uncle Phil took Sophie to Pump it Up. Then, Mama & Abbie met up with them for lunch at Nana's house and we went to the zoo for a little bit in the afternoon. Sophie was very tired that afternoon and so were the rest of us! One thing that Sophie enjoys about visiting Aunt Martha's is that she gets to raid her jewelry drawer. Sophie had on tons of plastic bracelets and watches. It was pretty funny!
On Saturday afternoon, Matt & Sophie decorated pumpkins. They decorated two pumpkins with the Potato Head kits and then they also carved a jack-o-lantern. Sophie kept trying to put the Potato Head pieces in that one because she wasn't used to carving a regular pumpkin. She wasn't too crazy about having the whole pumpkin experience either. She didn't want anything to do with the insides of the pumpkin. Sophie was very proud of the pumpkins when they were finished decorating them!

Personally, I think the only way to go with the pumpkins is the Mr. Potato Head way. They look great!!
I think the pirate pumpkin one is cute. Did he have just one eye? I'm glad that Spohie enjoyed it after they were finished.
