Sophie "driving" the boat at the museum
Sophie painting with water
Sophie snapping beans and feeding her giraffe
Well, it's taken me a little while to get these pictures posted but better late than never, right? We've been very busy lately with VBS at our church and trying to get our house ready to go on the market. Plus, we are leaving town tomorrow. It's just been crazy! Anyway, about a week and a half ago, Matt's mom (Mimi) came down on the train to visit us. Then, a few days later, Matt's dad drove down and they helped us get some projects done around our house. They were a big help too! Thanks, Paw-paw Tom and Mimi! Anyway, the first couple of days it was rainy and so we couldn't go swimming or anything. We decided to go to the Children's Museum and Sophie had a great time! One day, Mimi was showing Sophie how to snap beans. Sophie treats the plastic giraffe shown in the picture just like a baby doll and carries him around. She was having more fun feeding the green beans to the giraffe which was quite hilarious. The last picture was taken a few weeks ago and I just thought it was too precious so I wanted to share it.
Have a Happy 4th everyone!

Hey Paula--
Did you do the painting with water at home? Luke's OT mentioned that to me, and I was curious how you did that. Looks like fun.
Just wanted to let you know that I had a wonderful time at Sophie's house. At some point as your children grow it will be their house until they leave for college and then it becomes yours again. Praying that all is well with you.
Mimi
