Sophie riding the panda
Last week, we made a trip to the zoo and enjoyed the warm weather. We met up with a friend of mine since childhood, Suzanne, and her two kids. Abbie and Ella enjoyed "hanging out" a little since they the same age and Sophie & Nathan got along well together. They will both start Kindergarten next year. Suzanne and I went to kindergarten together (that's where we met) so I told her it's weird that our kids are both starting kindergarten now. We enjoyed seeing some animals, having a picnic lunch and riding the carousel. It was so hot after lunch that we just briefly played on the playground before deciding that we were ready to head home.
