Sophie and Paula went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Vergne in Richmond, VA, by train from Charleston on March 10. They enjoyed a long weekend with the grandparents while Matt attended a conference in Boston. Sophie had flown in an airplane several times, but this was her first train trip. Sophie enjoyed being able to move around while traveling, and she took a couple of naps during the 6 hour trip on the Amtrak train "Palmetto."
