Sophie was born at 10:22 A.M. on May 1, 2005 in Rockville, MD. It was a joyous occasion with both sets of grandparents present at the hospital when Sophie was born! She had a full head of red hair. Although Sophie was born 2 weeks early, she was 7 pounds 3 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. Paula & Sophie came home from the hospital on May 3 and Sophie's Nana stayed for a week after Sophie's birth. It was fairly cold on the day she came home. The high temperature was 40 degrees.
